The DG is one year old and it has been an interesting time for us.
We have had a few interruptions to our plans, but we are on track with nice steady growth and we hope to be able to continue that to the next step during the coming months.
One of the issues holding us back has been the length of time it has taken us to research things and to check that we have facts not fiction, or even worse, Kerryanne Conways “Alternative facts” to support or reports and opinions.
On the upside we found ourselves with a wealth of new sites and resources that we can use to supply data, information and supporting evidence.
On the downside much of it was on a series of laptops/tablets/thumb drives and PC’s, not to mention the scraps of paper, serviettes and beer mats covered in runic ciphers.
Not any more though…we have got our collective acts together and systematically organised the whole lot….and then…we had a brainwave !
We built our own search machine.
It uses all of what we had discovered in our travels plus many of the established and recognised sources of trustworthy journalism , and it we can add new material to it in a heart-beat.
Now you can use it too, Ladies and Gentlemen I give you the newly born infant Search facility, TheReal.News and we would really appreciate your feedback, as well as any new sites and sources to round out the concept.
